According to this picture , the Gundam Unicorn series will be released as a 6 part OVA of 50min each.

the expected released date is spring 2010 (and thus it’s been delayed) with DVD and Blu-ray release , as well as a Simultaneous worldwide internet release

Recently , the author of the original Gundam Unicorn novel has revealed that the first instalment of the animation will be about an hour long and will cover most of the first two novels. He didn’t precise what format it would have , but the probability of it being a TV series are almost void now. What’s left is either an OVA series or a Movie series ,like the Kara no Kyoukai film.
